Dr. Timothy S. Guldemond D.D.S.
Dr. Timothy Guldemond was born in Mt. Clemens Michigan. For undergraduate studies, he attended Michigan State University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dental Medicine in 1987. Dr. Guldemond has spent his entire career in Newburyport.
He has been passionately upgrading and enhancing his office for 30 years. His goal has always been to provide quality, comforting care in a space like no other. The facility is an expression of who he is personally and professionally. Together with his wife Robin (Marshall) Guldemond, they have made the practice their life’s work.
He has numerous personal interests. He is an avid boater on the Merrimack River. He also enjoys photography and skiing. In the past 11 years, he has formed a local rock cover band that plays local charity events. (www.waytotheriver.com)

Dr. Melissa B. Root D.M.D.
Dr. Melissa Root received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental medicine in 2007. Prior to her dental studies, she attended the University of New Hampshire, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Dr. Root began her dental career in Rhode Island, at a large group practice. She has worked for Complete Mobile Dentistry, providing care for men and women of the Armed Forces. A native of southern New Hampshire, she always knew she would return to the north shore. Since 2011, Dr Root and Dr Guldemond have enjoyed the camaraderie of working together to provide patients with conscientious general dental care She enjoys building strong relationships with her patients.
She is committed to learning and improving by attending regular continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association as well as Massachusetts Dental Society.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr Root spends time hiking, boating and exploring New England. She loves to travel and spend time with her husband, Adam, and two dogs, Panzer & Cecelia. She is an active volunteer for Doberman Rescue Unlimited and is a member of the Trustees of Reservations.
